Alice Key (Sparks)

Alice Sparks went home to the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2016 in Austin, Texas surrounded with family and friends. Alice fought an 8 year battle with cancer. To the loving union of Russell V. Key and Irene L. Rogers Key, Alice was born in Tonopah, NV on September 14, 1944.

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

Alice is survived by her loving husband Jackie, sister and brother in-law Sybel and JT Barr, her darling niece Stacey (Justin) Blaxton and nephews James (Shawna) Barralce and Phillip (Rachel) Barr, many great nieces and nephews. Her god-children Kelsey and Paul Simpson, friend/sister Ginny Simpson.
For Twenty years she owned a management company, (Ultra Management) that managed Twin Towers Office Building. In those twenty years, she not only developed a successful business but along the way she developed lifelong friendships that she cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral home located 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750 on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 pm at Cook-Walden Funeral Home on Anderson Mill Road. Graveside Service will be in Jonesboro, Arkansas at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Alice will always be light to so many of her family members and dearest friends.

I am so saddend to hear of Alice's passing.  She was a blessing to have as a friend and so many great memories from high school.  She was my maid of honor at my wedding, my dear friend.  She will be missed.  God has her at his feet to suffer no longer.  God bless you Alice.

I sure hate to hear about her passing,she was a good friend and class mate in school,I'm sure she will be sorely missed.
